Can't Wear Collared Shirts Without Being Tickled

I have some sort of sensitivity at my neck. I would love to wear button-up shirts much more, but I can't wear them without feeling irritated unless the fabric is soft. I can't understand how some people button their shirts all the way up and feel perfectly fine with it. Does anyone else have this problem?
