All over blogs and forums (yeah, this one too), I see people saying "that's not streetwear", "this is streetwear", "a mix between streetwear and menswear" etc.

So how do you define streetwear? Is it just white/grey/black tees and hoodies with over-sized logo-prints on them? Is it garments affiliated with/rooted in skatewear?

What are the "criteria" for calling something streetwear?

(If there's already a discussion on this somewhere, don't bust my kneecaps, I tried doing a thorough forum search before writing this!)
