I don't like watches that get too trendy or try to be the next fashion trend - simple is fine with me. I also wouldn't spend more than about $150 on a watch. My girlfriend got me this Fossil one I like.
Also got a white watch from Swatch that looks a bit similar but has a soft band. It's waterproof of course, tight around the wrist but feels like it's not even there so it's good to wear at the beach, when I'm working (screen printing) or doing something active. And the white looks pretty dope IMO.
