I want to preserve some of the more expensive tee's and tanks that I own... would hand washing be better? If so what detergents or soaps should I use?

dude that used to own a streetwear store near where i live told me to wash tees inside out in cold water, hang dry them too. also said to only wash when they were really dirty or smelled bad

This. Turn them inside out and hang to dry. Wash less often so the shirts last longer.

I'm a weird dude though, because I like dryer shrunk tees so I always shove them in the dryer first wash.

Also, Woolite black. That shit's fucking great.

I soak them in one part vinegar one part water one part my own piss

But forreal, I only wash my tees when they are super dirty or stinky and I wash them cold with minimal amounts of detergent
