Do you care about socks? I didn't really care about them so much, but I guess I caught onto that trend. I didn't want to catch on with it, though, because I thought it was unnecessary to purchase one pair of socks for fifteen dollars. Besides, I wear pants more than I wear shorts, so it's not like people are going to see my socks that often.

I've only been wearing black nike or adidas brand high socks since middle school. They're like the same amount as regular socks but they look slicker. Also, fuck paying 15 per pair. Anything more than 2.50 a pair is retarded.

I just cop PRL socks from WInners. I drop ~$100 twice a year on socks. 3 packs of waffles/dress socks. Thick singles. 2 packs of light knits. I do like McGregor Happy Feet outside of Polo, they're my reserves.

I don't like plain white socks.

H&M socks are pretty great, they're thin, comfy and cheap.

I didn't really care up until recently when it was so hard to find a matching pair. So I got some mid height polo and lacoste socks. They actually feel great and they were like $10 for 3 lacoste pairs and $15 or so for 5 polo. Probably going to pick up some more when I have the chance.

What do you guys think about these LRG socks? They're five dollars a pair. Are they worth getting?

Sz. 11 foot and my LRG socks fit tight, but not too small

they're a good weight knit to keep you warm. They're too heavy to wear in the summer.

I got mine for $4

Thank you so much for your input. I guess that's what I wanted to know. I'm planning on wearing these LRG socks when the cold weather kicks in. If you don't mind, where did you get them at?

LRG socks are really comfy material, but being a size 12 is kinda rough for me wearing them. Karmaloop.

To me depending on your outfit if you want the socks to be the eyes catcher then of course you should care. But if you are just wearing something covering the socks go right to wal-mart. Nike socks to me are a tad bit played out reason being is that some people wear them with every type of shoes no matter what it is. THEY CAN EVEN BE CROCS!!!

That's pretty much how I felt, too, but I think calf socks are fine now. As long as they don't go really high up, I would wear them.

As long as they look like:

Legit, I hated this random ass trend of brands jumping to produce the same socks just with a different name on but then I got bought some HUF plant life socks and I've never looked back aha

If brands weren't making their socks $5+ per pair then maybe I'd cop more. For now all I've bought were some diamond socks for $30 for 3 pairs just to try 'em out. Still haven't even worn 'em 'cause I don't wanna wear em out lol.

I have a collection of socks. I picked up a good chunk of them when I went on vacation to SF in '10. There was some store in Fisherman's Wharf area (by that big ass macaroni noodle) that sold socks. I bought about 5 or 6 pairs, all with various stupid shits on them. I used to do the high socks and shorts thing back then, but I stopped after that summer. I usually just wear them when I wear jeans now and I wear mid or ankle Nike socks when I wear shorts.

Rarely catch me in any kind of socks, I own 3 different pair... Well 4, generic socks for when I wear generic shoes (new balance, vans etc...) I have Nike socks for when I wear Nike, and occasionally you may catch me in the generic ones too, adidas socks for when I hoop as I hoop in mostly Crazy 8 variations, then my dress socks.

I few socks do appeal to me though, Huf did a pretty good job, as well as Stance... but those are mainly for spring/summer.

Usually I wear boat shoes or loafers.. but now that it is getting colder, I just ordered a bunch of Uniqlo socks since they're relatively cheap. Hopefully they're okay quality.

There comes a time when you figure out white socks look like shit, and black socks look all slick and professional.
