for example do the 511 trousers fit differently from the jeans?

and are they thinner/lighter?

I got the 510 super skinny trouser and that shit fits like a 511 while the 510 super skinny jeans feels skin tight. Size up on 510 jeans.

I wear size 32 in Levi 511 denim, size 31 in Levi 511 trousers.

you size down with the trousers but keep in mind the legs will be sized down as well i.e. in jeans i wear 31x32 in 511 skinnys but for trousers i wear 30x32 in 520 tapered for that extra leg room
