Screenprinting B&W Photographs

First, I apologize if there is already a post about this. Is it hard to screenprint B&W photographs. From most things I've read they say it is pretty difficult. Does anyone on here do this themselves or do you send your shirts away to get photographs printed on the shirts? Thanks

Look up sublimation printing or DTG printing as well. If you want to do screen printing, you will just need to make it a haltone in illustrator (which is pretty much a bunch of small dots that make up the image). Some printers just require the image and they can do the hard work for you, but that takes some shopping around.
