I need to buy some sunglasses, and I like the frogskins.

But I'm torn between these two, unfortunately I can not try it, I'll buy online.

Crystal black/ positive red iridium

Polished clear/ violet iridium

i owned the the clear/violet iridium ones, but sold em. since they are clear they look a lot smaller on your face than non clear frames. if you're set on one of the two get the first pair. otherwise ditch these and get some non-clear frogs

So do not you advise the second pair?

Honestly I'm torn about buying glasses colored / mirrored or common black and gray lenses, because they are more versatile.

The colored / mirrored you can use on any occasion, or are more limited?

i like them, but not on my face as they looked smaller in comparison to non-clear frames.

i'd say buy frogskins with colored lenses. if you want black ones, just get some off ebay. i'd rather buy generic black lenses than generic colored lenses since oakleys are going to be much better quality.

plus looking at girls tits without them noticing is a lot easier with colored lenses lol

I also think the colored lenses are best, are iridium.
But I wanted something more subtle and use throughout the year.

You only use a colored glasses during the summer?

Wish I still had the all chrome supreme ones (broke them) or the glow in the dark ones. (sold them)

I wear my all black ones all the time though

a friend of mine told me that the polished clear let in too much sun, right?
The frame is very light and lets the sun's rays.

I'm about to buy the crystal black, red iridium, but what do you think the color combination of the frame and lenses? looks good?
