why not? its part of life, and whats the concept behind it?I don't want to get too specific until the brand actually launches, but basically the name is an old term that was used in the days of swords and shields and likewise my brand features imagery of warriors. The term has also been applied to running a business, so it fits fairly well in a clothing brand
'40s-'50s fighter plane style art with 'death'? yes. skulls, pin-ups, screaming sharks, that sort of stuff, hot rod essentials. metal/hardcore/thrash band tee inspired? yes, think Pushead style, zombies, dark lords, baphomets, inverted pentagrams. brand would have to be "'bout dat life' too. if you're some simple hipster/hiphopster putting death and inverted crosses and shit, you're only selling to your friends and those like you. however, that hipster element is huge, and a pabst black death tee with a grim reaper and some inverted crosses would sell a lot of tees.
props to starting a brand but seriously brands have been doing it for a while. Deathwish, Actual Pain, DropDead, CVLT nation, death traitors, and death in june. I don't know if you're going for a dystopia, satanic vibe with a scummy kind of wit then I'd probably wear it. But I'd just say do something that none of these brands have done.
