Im not sure how many of you here on HB are familiar with shopping on NDC (nikestore.com), specifically big releases (Nike Air Yeezy 2, Retro Jordans, Foamposites, etc); but there is a system that Nike uses on big releases. When a shoe is released on NDC and its a big release, Nike has a system where once you have put the shoe in your cart and are on the checkout page, the shoe is put on hold for you for a certain amount of time so no one can be "cart robbed".
So knowing the way Supreme releases can be (especially on New Season First Release), I think it would be cool if they implemented this system that Nike uses for their releases. Since multiple items are released on the Supreme webstore, I think it would be fair if:
-Once an item is in your cart, it is on hold for 1 minute, giving you time to quickly look at other items you may want to buy and add to your cart.
-Once you have chosen all the items you want and they are in your cart, and you go to the checkout/payment page, you have 1 more minute to checkout or else the items in your cart are no longer guaranteed to be yours.
So in general, you have 2 minutes to pick the items you want and checkout so it makes it more fair to those who want to purchase items without being cart robbed. Let me know what you guys think of this.
