Basically (as the topic says) I am short and fat; I am losing weight. But in the mean time what fit clothing, what type of clothing (e.g. opt for khakis instead of jeans, or button down instead of t-shirt) and also how to stop khakis or jeans from looking baggy (e.g. buy a tapered leg, slim fit so that beyond the knee it doesn't look baggy and how to stop the 'seat' of the pants from being baggy because my thighs are pretty big).
And any general dressing/style tips for someone like me smile

Thanks for your help!

you got the right ideas. if you dress up more like a man and less like a kid, you'll visually drop some pounds. Button ups, chinos, straight slims, etc.

don't just try sizing up to fit into things, find cuts that are designed for a body type more like yours. oh and don't wear hats, it only makes a short person look short. I'm 6' 2" so when i see a 5' 7" kid wearing a hat, i see the button, and it looks weird.

You've got the right idea. For the most part I like shopping/buying my clothes by myself because I want to make sure that I keep my steez, but where you're looking for tips and ideas it might be a good idea to find a friend that has a sense of style that you like or know that they can help and take them with you (just make sure they are a good friend so when you look like a goon they tell you) Also I am 5'10" 135 pounds soaking wet so the baggy pants thing is a HUGE problem for me. I've definately found that the slim fits are the way to go (for me personally). The slim fits to some peoples suprise are not those super tight pants that make you feel like you are a female but once I tried some I've found that they are a significant amount better.

^^^^^^grow a pair last couple; and grab some maturity along with that (except slap if he was being serious).
Also I'm not fat as you would think a fat guy would be; my torso doesn't jut out of my pants and my thighs and but are big because I am a powerlifter, also polos seem to look good on me. More help with what type of chinos I should buy (what brand) I have been recommended epaulet by some but not sure if you ahve any ideas?

If your looking for a shirt, just get an 80hd shirt and it will look nice on your figure bro. As for chinos, theres plenty of options out there you'll just have to try a few on and decide what looks best my dude
