Diamond isn't even a skate brand anymore. Its based off clothes now. But yeah, this is a stupid argument. I skate and wear sbs but I couldn't give a fuck if I saw some other person wearing them and didn't skate.

People need to stop doing it and stop acting like they're skaters. So many posers wear nike SB's who don't skate. Same goes for Diamond Supply Co, it's a skate brand, if you don't skate you shouldn't wear it.

sure, but skate shoes are different. it's not like i go ahead and buy a $200 pair of soccer shoes and claim i'm a soccer player. skate shoes are affordable, cool, and fashionable. i would wear them just because i like them.

Big response on this guys sure people like skate shoes and apparel because in part the designs are good and the products themselves are good, but also because they find the skate lifestyle and all attached connotations attractive so they dress like a skater would. This is the unfortunate truth of probably most people on this forum.
As for DIamond Supply co, they are and as they have said repeatedly at heart a skate hardware brand.

Well in part because it tarnishes the reputation of skaters if we become known for being a bunch of puncy posers who care more about clothes than skating. Plus the argument that how does it interfere with your life is a flawed one, If Nazi Germany was still in power how would it interfere with your life?, it wouldn't but that wouldn't mean you wouldn't want to stop it.
