So I thought it would be cool to have an official thread where people can kinda get advice on how to wear certain items. I'll start off, recently bought a pair of red chinos. They looked good in the store so I bought them on kind of an impulse but when I got em home I have no idea what to wear them with. Any ideas?

I got some bordeaux chino's same story really, i usually wear them with a black top or white. Can work with dark blue too, but don't know if you mean yours are screeching red.

I think you'd have to wear black.

black looks terrible with red, especially in the case of pants

depends on how deep is the red but .... a heater grey crewneck like Jcrew ones and a white oxford would work.

I like this idea. To everyone asking, they're a deep red color. Almost burgundy. Got em at h&m. And to answer yours, I think it would look dope with a nice black/red plaid and a white tee, any dark washed jeans or a nice pair of khakis. Or a grey pullover. There's lots of variations.

slight pin rolled, low profile black shoes sans socks, and dark grey tshirt.
i personally wouldn't recommend white shoes.



i'd wear rolled up skinny khakis, solid white undershirt, opened red chambray. no socks of course.

solid color [ie. heather pink] supreme pocket tshirt

I'm not a boat shoe fan but i've seen most people rock em with some rolled up khakis/chinos a button up shirt (open) and then an under shirt that compliments the button up.

I think it's time to establish how snapbacks and caps in general should be worn

IMO, they shouldn't be worn with smarter clothes, sometimes they seem so unnecessary on a fit, just there because they guy wanted to show he owns a snapback

Caps should be worn with casual fits only IMO
