Back in the day I used to be very involved with my own brand Kerosin and it was awesome. We sold a bunch and had a lot of stock. We ended up losing track of our inventory since so much was going in and out / laziness. Anywho, I built a simple web app that we can use to keep track of items quickly and easily called Inventorian. It's free and I used it as a project to help me learn nerd shiz. http://inventorian.com Hopefully this can help you guys like it helped me, let me know what you think.

Thanks guys! The brand is doing ok, focusing more on software to help us folks though. Let me know if there's anything you see that could use improvement

i want to know how i'd go about prepping my collection,
putting my designs in my head to paper or computer,
i'm really quite bad at art,
do i work with someone to draw the clothes up for me or is there some type of application i can use??

You're going to want to obtain a copy of Illustrator. Try to use a student discount to get it for cheap. Take a few classes somewhere or just play around with it till you can draw things pretty well. That's the best way. Some folks draw on paper first, scan it then trace it in Illustrator. Send those files to the printer and they'll handle the rest with guidance from you

So to keep track of inventory you would have to manually go in and change the numbers? ex: beginning inventory is 60 and each time one is sold you would have to go in and change it to 59, 58, 57, etc?

For now yeah, in the future I'll add some arrows to make it go up / down a bit quicker
