I'm looking for an affordable pea coat this Winter. Aiming for something slim and not too long. Any ideas?

This probably doesn't apply. I can't afford it. Mister Freedom Midnight jacket.

Go vintage man. You can really find yourself great quality and great condition peacoats in some places. Once you dry clean them after purchase, it's yours! Simple, and you'll have a unique piece to wear...

J. Crew is a little pricey. Not sure if I can size down at Burlington since I'm a small already

Just got my JCrew peacoat in yesterday and the coat runs big. I usually wear XL in jackets/coats but ima have to size down to a Large.

I think I tried ordering that one from Plndr on Black Friday and then I got an out of stock email from them. I hear Forever has good ones, definitely need to check it out.

this. if you can afford the uniqlo ones, go for it. if you can't, second option. though forever may be the same as the Korean ones in quality and construction, you'll only have an option of three I think (forever doesn't really have a shitload of peacoats), so looking online is probably your best bet.

schott nyc slim fitting peacoat is on point, def recommend it

also have an authentic naval issue peacoat i picked up from a thrift store. weighs about 6 lbs and i copped it for $40. extremely warm and it fits well but the sleeves are too baggy and a bit too long, but makes sense considering the source.
