dude how cool would it be to just make your own 5 panels? it cant be that hard all youd have to do is take one apart and draw down the patterns and shit. you could basically use any fabric you want.


yeah, I've been totally thinking about that. how do they make the brims though? w/ cardboard or something? I could totally make it happen, my grandma is a seamstress who used to make wedding dresses and stuff and a simple 5 panel would be a piece of cake for her and my uncle has an embroidering factory/company.... hmmm

Cardboard is way too easily bent lol

yeah, the second floral looks better than their first in my opinion. I wish I got one of those fruit 5 panels from their first drop. can't believe people are sleeping on the grizzlies, that hat is pretty special.

I would have gotten the Grizzlies if they did not leave it plain blue on the brims. Felt like something was 'odd' or 'missing'. But eh, like you said it's still a special piece.

yeah, it would have looked better with a different color brim since the color matched the print on the crown so much. a black or a khaki/suede brim would look much better imo.

just upload the image to a file hosting site, e.g. I use tinypic. Upload the pic, hit 'view raw image' (or something similar and copy&paste that url.

I disagree. I reckon the plain navy brim looks dope, in my opinion these all-over prints are gonna get old fast.

you can buy reinforced cardboard super cheap. and for the straps you could probably just use a piece of black elastic. ive been wanting to do this for a while i just dont want to take apart any of my caps theyre too precious! but you could literally use any fabric you wanted. and you could sell to local skateshops and stuff.

Nice one about $70 though after shipping though a little high for a hat to me. Still thinking about it though really like that its not a all over print. Thanks for the heads up on the new era 5 panel that's what i was wondering about.
