the easiest thing to do is to get a blank white tee, have someone model it on a solid backdrop and work with that. You can that with all garments

That won't nice cause the shirt has shadows and highlights. There's templates out there that account for the clipping mask.

The brand doesn't really matter if your just using it for a template right?

The tee will have the look and feel of an AA tee, and the little tag , so it kinda matters

So if I'm bout to get a shirt screenprinted, the shirt I use in the template has to be the same as the shirt I'm going to get screenprinted. I just wanted to start getting some designs done really, wasn't planning on doing any immediate screenprinting.

Oh I meant that the shirt will just look like an American Apparel tee when you put your design on. but yeah it is blank.


Nothing have to do with printing yet. For that to matter, your design needs to be of the correct size and DPI with all colors separated.
