I currently have the jansport superbreak backpack in black and everyone has it, and it gets annoying sometimes when people pick up the wrong backpack. I've had the jansport for about 2 years and Im thinking about getting the Herschel Heritage backpack. my question is, in quality, which brand is better. I really like the herschel heritage design but if the quality is worse than jansport, I rather just get a different color jansport. So, Herschel vs Jansport, based only on quality and perks(pockets, shit like that)?

how long have you had the jansport and the herschel for? do you think herschel will last at least 3-4 years?

I would also like to know how commfy it is. Are the shoulder pads comfy cause in the pics I see some type of padding in the pics that the jansport superbreak doesnt have? Does anyone know how the bag holds stuff? is it good for school? with it fit books, binders etc like a jansport? does it offer more space than a jansport?

In terms of comfort, I do believe Herschel is better, unless you get those Jansport backpacks with the ridiculous amount of "padding".

The most important part about Herschel is the quality and durability, I used to carry my books and my laptop in my backpack and it was still comfortable and looks far better than a Jansport, in my opinion.

I just got my Herschel Supply Co Heritage in black a few days ago. It's a bit bigger than the black Jansport backpack everyone has, but I still fucks with it.

Well the heritage doesn't slouch on your back like the black jansport everyone has, and it pretty much sits upright on your back. But it may be that my heritage is still new, so I don't know yet.

ahhh I see. do you think it offers more room than the jansport since its slightly bigger? How do you like the the look? do you like the slouch the jansport gives or the upright postition? btw, what color did you get?

Yeah, it definitely has more room, it also has a... I don't know what you would call it, but a keychain/lanyard holder? I got black/brown, and the slouching or upright really doesn't matter it will probably start slouching a little bit after some use. It feels a bit stiff when you first get it. I kind of like the slouch of the Jansport, but I'd still fuck with the upright position.

Ahh, looks the same, but without the leather. Also it kind of looks as if it won't slouch on your back as I mentioned before.

ive had both bags, The herschel is made from a real thick canvas and the leather is synthetic. Only thing is, after a while the dye from my denim rubs off on and stains the brown leather. Other than that? Go for a Herschel

I got 2 duffle and a wallet from them, Quality is definitely noticeable

www.amazon.com/Herschel-Supply-Co-Heritage-Backpack/dp/B004N7SKC6

the dude said

Iono what he is talking about mine is not ripping or anything on the leather. Of ourse its fake leather but still so far nothing wrong with mine.

Uve had my eye on the heritage in black for months now, saw that same review, and now im hesitant about the leater bottom, feel like going with the classic...dont know if i should risk that, $10 more and the quality might not be so great?

Idk, what you guys think, classic or heritage?
