When it comes to blanks, what does anyone in here suggest for superior in quality? I've heard good things about Gildan, but there are a few threads on tshirtforums, that are saying many people are getting irregular tees from them depending on their supplier. Also when it comes to plastic bagging does anyone have a site to recommend? I remember there being a post about it but can't seem to find it.

Gildan is shit in my opinion. They are some of the cheapest tees and shrink like crazy in the wash. Although I have no personal experience with them, I love Alstyle and American Apparel and have a couple of tees that other brands have used such as Only for AA and Huf for AAA.
As far as plastic bags, I think Uline is really good.

Do most people write out their own lettering, or design it on photoshop/illustrator?

When designing a text design, I usually draw it on paper first because I have that skill and then scan it into the computer and recreate and work with it in illustrator. Granted if you aren't very good at drawing that may not be an option but there are certainly many other ways to go about it.

Design was made by us. Well aware that it is a parody on the cartoon. Find it funny that people are commenting more about an oldschool obscure childrens anime and not on the big corporate giant for the mickey design

Take a look at jiffyshirts.com . I personally like and use the Anvil tear away label fashion fit ringspun 980 tees. Im thinking about upgrading to AA myself, but with an upgrade comes increased prices, and one thing that my customers love are the modest prices.
And i second Uline. I use their 12x5 white poly mailers and it ships directly in the package...no additional packaging needed.

What is the industry standard for tank tops? Alstyle #1307? If so, how is the fit/material compared to their shirts(I've read that they run a little large)? **Any brand examples would help**

I've tried AA tanktops and don't like the fit at all

1301 is the Industry standard. They run fitted but not supper fitted like AA.
Harder cotton. Shrinks about .5 inch after wash.
Neck line stays perfect no bacon stretch.

It's like a streetwear staple to fuck with copyrighted shit. just look at all the mickey mouse designs...

Thats Doremon, a copyrighted character... are you even allowed to print it and sell that?

Technically no. But they are such a small brand and printed maybe 25 tees. Im sure the company won't care nor notice. But they should be careful about travelling into those kind of waters, especially as you grow

So, on a lighter note.. I'm making my way to college next year and was just wondering if any of y'all run your brands from a dorm room as well? And right now I got all my designs picked for this summer, they're right below here, there will be an additional design and a photo tee if everything goes according to plan! If anyone wants to support me my shop is http://stayalert.bigcartel.com/ I still got some stock left over from Spring so check it out! I want to take my brand towards the direction of the flashy 90s skate and surf clothes that I grew up wearing because of my brother's hand-me-downs. Please give me some criticism on what you don't like and let me know what you do like! (I may have already posted these designs in here but this is more of an official post, not trying to spam)
P.S I'm currently in the process of smoothing out these lines and polishing the designs until they're perfect, but these will be the designs

Really fuck with this image. Can't wait to see the actual clothing man. It's good to see unique shit that isn't trying to be the established brands in demand now.

Only uses AA for tees, Alternative for tanks and the raglan crewnecks, Gildan for hoodies and normal crewnecks.
Also, many big streetwear brands use AAA 1301, I know HUF, The Hundreds, Benny Gold and there are many others.

Haha man on Alibaba every manufacturer says they did obey, supreme, the hundreds, and any sports hat.. But even if they didn't some are still legit. I got hats done by the supposed obey manufacturer and they sent me good hats just not the same materials obeys are.
