available now @ waveseason.bigcartel.com

give me feedback also

The play on Northface is clever, but personally it's not something i would buy.

I'm feeling the ODB ghost but I recommend a different sleeve design or just removing it all together. And moving the pic to the front of the shirt.

Please be aware cut & sewn is when you create apparel from SCRATCH- draping, pattern drafting, sourcing fabric and notions, piecing them together with a sewing machine and/serger, etc. Turn around for cut & sewn apparel can average 4-12 weeks depending on how detailed the collection is and where it is being shipped from. What your doing is modifying preexisting apparel. Done much in the same way as simply printing images on blank apparel. It's nothing new. If you wish to go this route I advise you to look into your competition and stay away from trends unless you come up with an awesome way to change them for the better.

Also, "luxury" products i'm sure is not going to be your market in the end. Please review luxury brands history and their product and manufacturing methods before embarking into this market. What makes them luxury is the highest quality fabric and production methods used for their garments. Generally fabric that is custom(in their own factory or have a contract with textile factory) made and not found online or at Joann Fabrics. Meaning it could cost $60 for just 1/2 a yard of fabric for a top that requires 1 3/4's of it. Calculate what they might have to retail it for to make a profit. if your in the $300 range that's still low. Those are their type of customers who IMO have an 8% chance of hanging out on Hypebeast. They regularly spend $300-$600 on single tops and over $1k for 1 pair of shoes.

Also, the name "create" sounds like a hobby shop or possibly a toy company. I'm not saying change the name, but you'll have to have a very strong logo/word mark and of course good products to sell your company.

Today marks the 20th anniversary of The 36 Chambers release date. I have been working on a project to honor the anniversary and the entire Wu-Tang Clan collective. The concept is based on the idea of the original 9 members as the starting 9 of a baseball team: The Staten Island Shaolin. Each member had a different style that came together to create something completely unique similar to the different positions of a baseball team coming together for a winning team.

The collection will consist of 2 pieces: the "Home Jersey" inspired by the hometown New York Yankees pinstripe jerseys and the "Batting Practice" baseball 3/4 sleeve shirt. Both orders will come a commemorative line up card, highlighting each members personal statistics (solo albums, achievements, etc.)

The designs below are obviously still rough drafts, so I'd like to hear some opinions. Release date is TBA.
Anyone else want to provide some honest feedback on this?

I know the mockups were done quickly to make the announcement on the anniversary so I'm more interested in the concept and hypothetical design. Thanks

Do something DIFFERENT and NEW. None of this is interesting. Nothing wrong with your mock up. You displayed your designs just fine. It's just a boring concept that looks 95% just like the picture you posted from back then. Look at what they done this month and previous years to get ideas. Here's a starter: http://hypebeast.com/search?s=wu+tang

Very nice. Personally for me I prefer larger graphic images. And the front/back design reminds me of how corporations and charities do promo t-shirts- company name front/logo on back. It's ok, but I think you should impress the person with the very first look of the garment.
I'd prefer the first tee to have the word mark centered and larger. Having it on the side makes me feel like there should be a pocket underneath and again a promo t-shirt. It might look better once it's actually printed so that's just my opinion.

You should also look into creating your own Old English style word mark if you have not done your copyrights/trademarks,

I'm here to help with what I can. I apologize if the information is over whelming. I have an AS in Fashion, but honestly that's all you need for this industry. The rest is about saving money and be willing to teach yourself.
Anyone considering to "start a brand" needs to venture beyond Hypebeast and initially get offline & read a book once and awhile.

What's your method of printing? This is very detailed line art and you managed to print on the entire collar. The artwork is very morbid for my taste but the details are gorgeous. The empty space below the skull in the oval is a bit odd though.

your logo looks incredibly close to huf's script logo, and this website is the wrong place to be pushing designs like that. when i see a design like that, i imagine a white lady wearing a xxxl shirt. your logo is eh, your designs are not.
