Not sure how "custom" you're going for but these guys are an industry leader http://www.paramountapparel.com/ high minimums (300 units) though.

Asking for advice from a forum of amateurs who think they know what they're doing is your first misstep. Heres something though, there are no rules to clothing, no guide book or how-to. The only way you are going to get anywhere is to make something and make people see it, not by telling a bunch of teenagers that that you have a great idea.
I don't get why people always post stuff like this when someone asks for help. The whole point of this thread is for people wanting to start a New Brand to ask questions and get feedback. It's just not cool and it makes you look like a douche when you shoot someone down when they ask for help. @2damndope I would suggest doing a lot of research. You're going to have to find out what kind of shirts you want to use, find a screen printer, a label maker, create social media accounts for your brand and come up with a solid marketing strategy. As far as snapbacks go, I have no idea about that, but I suggest you really make sure you have some good designs for your snapbacks because that is one of the most overly saturated parts of the industry right now. Hope this helps and best of luck!
The reason is because people expect to come to these forums & ask a question  & automatically get all the info they need without researching it. So many people have asked that question and it takes all but a few minutes to search this thread or read the entire thing so you know what to do and what no to do. As for advice for @2damndope? DO NOT rely soley on people's feedback from these forums, do what YOU feel is right and never try to force a brand image you don't live yourself. Study other brands that have come into this forum and see what has and hasn't worked for them.

Okay, I can see y'all's point. I guess I haven't been around long enough, but it does seem like a lot of people ask this question haha

I'm a fan of site, looks like some solid products incoming. Although I think the logo could use a slight tweak along with a change of font to match. Look forward to seeing the drop, interested.

This

site is legit/actually quality? I have some hat ideas and I like how

nothing seems to be out of their ability, but after reading that USA-New

Zealand-China chart, I'm worried about ordering from outside of the

USA.

Everything from that site is made in Vietnam and their

minimum order is 50 pieces. I don't wanna be either stuck with 50 shitty

quality hats or have to push and sell 50 shitty quality hats and give

people a bad taste of the brand.

Anyone got advice or experience with this vendor?

I have so many good names going through my head and ive made many designs that can apply to all of the names, but idk which one to choose ive tryed narrowing it down, but i end up changing it, i dont want to put the names out here, so im asking how do you choose the right name. I know this is something none of you can help with, but i just need some assistance.

If you're completely satisfied with a name you won't question it, so keep thinking until you hit something you're 100% satisfied with.

This. But say you have 3 names that you really like a can't decide upon, try creating a logo. Find a font that you like or think of a theme if you choose to hand draw the text. Put all three names through this and choose the one that has the most letters that you like or based on style of the font, just looks the coolest to you and could stand alone if you put it on a white tee.

@kumasii bro, you really need to work on your brand instead of trying to bite black scale(first design). It's seems like you are just throwing shit together and your name needs more thought.

Thanks for your feedback. The response from the black and red snap backs have been a even 50/50 split. I guess it depends if your into brighter colors or not. However, I think they're great colors for the summer

@apollolifestlye wasn't biting black scale at all. you're probably saying that based of a logo and the word black and i can say that judging from the clothing i've made my brand is nothing like black scale.. but i did see the resemblance so i chose to scrap that one and go a completely different route. and there's actually a bit of thought into the name if you knew the meaning behind it instead of just taking any word and putting lifestyle behind it. but thank's for the feedback.
