Hey everyone our Initial Release just went live last night. Wondering if you wanted to check it out. Below is a little bit about what our brand represents.

An apparel brand that defines humanity.

Rare Reflection is a direct correlation to the world around us. Look into a mirror, every human being is rare, one of a kind. No two reflections are the same no two personalities are identical. The purpose of the brand is to promote each persons unique persona to the world. It is time to be proud of the unique individual you have become. Everything about the brand sets out to make a statement, the vibrant colors, positive slogans/ designs, and opulent presentation. We strive for individualism, there is over saturation everywhere and the entire world just seems to blend together. That is why every single piece designed will be extremely limited, and never re-released. You will stand out in the most "extra"ordinary way possible.

it doesnt matter that theyre established
you can work around a lot of negative space
but there has to be a balance for it,
and their color scheme is simple.

negative space + balanced site design + basic color scheme = a solid site

random negative space + over sized icons + bad gradients and color combo = a messy unprofessional looking site.
plus, the fonts for your FAQ page are to crazy also, too big of a font for that much text.

I will take everything you said into consideration! Its just the launch site. still needs tweaking. As the brand grows everything will improve!
I am also using a 27 inch mac monitor. so the text looks tiny compared to the page at full screen. lol

So there seems to be alot of brands in general creating there identity around drugs and dealing not saying it wont work for some but I just feel like lately its the easy way to go ....any thoughts?
Agreed. And I feel like it's a bad business decision because then you are limiting who your customers are.
yes sir..because not everyone can wear a drug related graphic tee or hat...the creativity is gone most brands are taking the easy way into streetwear..rap lines, drug phrases, etc.....then there first season is 8 tees 4 different colorways, snapbacks 5 panels hoodies...a slew of product with 2 graphics..
Exactly.

Honestly, I'm not feelin' it. I feel like you have a great description of what you want your brand to be like, but then what you put out is nothing like your description. I also don't get the infinity sign...I don't get how that has anything to do with being rare. I feel like if you would have waited until you could release more than just a shirt with your logo on it, you would have been better off. Love the idea behind the brand, but the execution is poor and the designs aren't anything special. Definitely has potential to be something great though, you just have to take your time and really make something "rare"!

I understand what your brand is about and what your vision is, but I still don't think that your designs represent that. I think that the logo is unoriginal and the color scheme just doesn't work together. Honestly, your execution is off, but your vision for what you want your brand to be is awesome. If you work on a few things and clean up the site and get some original and better designs, I think you have great potential. Hopefully I'm not coming off mean, just giving my opinion.

I wanted to pay homage and at the same put a spin on a classic "streetwear" piece that I have wanted ever since I saw it back in the day - the fucking classic "Snow Beach" by POLO. I translated the words, Snow Beach and Cold Wave into spanish, and added a few simple, but yet classic elements.

I'm still debating whether or not I truly want this done. It will have to take people who appreciate the original Snow Beach, to get behind it. What ya'll think?

I run an art collective/company called steady burnt. It isn't a drug reference. I just made these lately and figured I'd post it in here to see if people might like some of the stuff. We focus on music and visual arts a little bit more than clothing, but make this stuff on the side cause it's fun. The website is steadyburnt.com no www's and the tumblr is steadyburnt.tumblr.com if you get curious. We release mixtapes, do music videos, take photos, shoot/edit skating, and plan to continue hosting mixes by artists monthly. There is a blog on the website that covers new and upcoming artists/friends as well.
