Whats up thread,
I've been perusing for a little bit and decided to post my brand on here. Just hitting around the year and a half mark, I have theIVXX. The brand name is inspired by the 1939 film "The Roaring Twenties", when three men came home to the prohibitionist society after WW1. The struggled and then they were praised for being their own dreams, and something out of nothing. theIVXX is all about concepts and thats true to every released design. Check it out below and more photos and videos at our Facebook page , Tumblr and Instagram

I don't think the description matches the shirts...at all. I do think the shirt looks pretty cool, but I feel like you have limited your customer base because you have automatically associated your brand with drugs and dealing. Those girls are fine as hell doe.

Been trying to come up with some new ideas for the mid-summer drop, what do you guys think? The graphic will either go on the back of a red shirt, hence the red background or an athletic heather one. I tried the white ink on a black brackground and the shadows don't look right.

Not sure what you're going for here...

Because matadors... yeah.

But Joey, I'd rock this on a heather. I like the concept of the red but it's just a little loud. Reminds me of The Sun Also Rises.

@ Dirty Old Man -- The idea for the matador shirt came from a line that I have had on my head for awhile, which reads, "Beauty Amongst Mayhem". I have been trying to put that into perspective and I remembered traveleling to Spain some years back and seeing a bullfighting "show" and it all clicked.

The matador, which means killer in English, is regarded as a god amongst mortals. Fucking crazy. And the bulls are just beautiful in their own right. There's a lot more to the "dance" as they call it, but in its simplest form, it is an beautiful but cruel sport.

Im gonna play with the typography and move it around a bit. I'm not liking the squareness of it.
Thanks for the compliment.

So I'm gonna need the digits to those models....damnnnn. But let me wipe that drool away.. You guys some dope designs, went and checked it out. You have to work on what the brand means because it doesn't mesh with the designs imo. The 420 makes me think of bud,the "legal trappin" idea has potential, and I just feel like ya'll are going to fall into the trends everyone else is doing trying to be Pyrex. Msg me cause I have some ideas for you.

STAYSET TIE DYE BUCKET HAT

http://setstore.co/
Do people wear bucket hats? I thought they were just for fishing...either way, these are pretty ugly.
People rock them, came back into style with the whole 90s hip-hop Renaissance. Besides that these hats seem too half-baked. Like I feel your line is solid, but the buckets don't really fit. Just my opinion.
Set is a half-baked brand in general, he's done nothing that doesn't have is name on it and the designs are just lackluster in general.

You are automatically going to get some hits just because of the females which you can already see but like the others have said, from what you typed and what's on the shirts I don't see how they come together to be honest.
You don't have to explain it me but it's just something to think about when customers come to your site.

My other comment is what brand female blanks shirts are those?

Neither really..

But if you were to go with one I'd say "AA 2001",
1301 just seems like a random number, unless it means something personal to you or something.

^^ I guess he is talking T-Shirt styles not brand name here.
Alstyle 1301 is a no brainer actually, alot of brands use it and are successful with it. Otherwise just looke at the feel and fit you like the most and which caters best to your target audience.

Hey everyone our Initial Release just went live last night. Wondering if you wanted to check it out. Below is a little bit about what our brand represents.

An apparel brand that defines humanity.

Rare Reflection is a direct correlation to the world around us. Look into a mirror, every human being is rare, one of a kind. No two reflections are the same no two personalities are identical. The purpose of the brand is to promote each persons unique persona to the world. It is time to be proud of the unique individual you have become. Everything about the brand sets out to make a statement, the vibrant colors, positive slogans/ designs, and opulent presentation. We strive for individualism, there is over saturation everywhere and the entire world just seems to blend together. That is why every single piece designed will be extremely limited, and never re-released. You will stand out in the most "extra"ordinary way possible.

I like the idea but i feel like the execution could have been better as far as the graphics...they should reflect what your saying. Instead just putting "rare" on a tee is average...nothing special, the website background colors don't work either. I expected more honestly, Im not saying this to hate, just my observation...good luck nonetheless!

thanks for the input! this was just a very basic initial release. More of a promo to what is to come. As time goes on we have designs and slogans that fit out brands meaning. I appreciate you taking the time to make your comment!

Honestly, I'm not feelin' it. I feel like you have a great description of what you want your brand to be like, but then what you put out is nothing like your description. I also don't get the infinity sign...I don't get how that has anything to do with being rare. I feel like if you would have waited until you could release more than just a shirt with your logo on it, you would have been better off. Love the idea behind the brand, but the execution is poor and the designs aren't anything special. Definitely has potential to be something great though, you just have to take your time and really make something "rare"!

yes sir..because not everyone can wear a drug related graphic tee or hat...the creativity is gone most brands are taking the easy way into streetwear..rap lines, drug phrases, etc.....then there first season is 8 tees 4 different colorways, snapbacks 5 panels hoodies...a slew of product with 2 graphics..

appreciate the feedback. If you read the description on each product. you can see why these specific designs were released. And this is just a promo release. The designs get more advanced. But nothing too crazy.

First the Rare across the chest is to promote yourself as a person. Thats what the entire brand sets out to do. By wearing the word you are stating how one of a kind you are. How unique of an individual you really are. Every human being has a rare reflection. No two are identical. The Logo was designed to help you make a bold statement as an individual. Reflect your passions, intensify your positivity. Be proud of everything you represent. You are unique and its time to promote that.

And as for the Infinite sign. If you look at it. The infinity logo is a reflection on its own. The Logo was designed to represent eternity. Each individual is unique in an infinite amount of ways. How you reflect yourself leaves an ever lasting impression. Be real since day one and in result you will reflect positivity forever.

This brand aint a "Swag" brand. Its street wear with a positive image behind it.
By wearing this brand you are not promoting it. You are promoting yourself.
