Well, I think that the difference between this Stussy v. Posse situation and the Stussy v. Chanel situation is that when Stussy was parodying Chanel, they were the first to (correct me if I'm wrong) take Chanel's "high fashion" iconic image and bring it into the realm of streetwear. I feel like it wouldn't be wise for an upcoming streetwear brand to parody another streetwear brand's logo/iconic images when you plan to be in the same genre of fashion. I'm not saying it's impossible to create successful parodies of other streetwear brands within streetwear.. you just better be on point. Of course it's hard to be "original" nowadays with everyone doing what everyone else is doing, but I think the key idea is to try and bring in creativity in whatever you design. But from what I've seen, there are plenty of bad parody examples on this thread.. I remember seeing some bad Crooks & Castles rip-offs on here one time. Just my opinion though. He might of "copied" Stussy Logo but i wonder where stussy might have gotten that from?!http://http://www.PosseKTA.weebly.com/ you copied the Stussy logo and use the word posse which they use a lot..
very original and new
You could've have copied someone but theres always going to be someone that did it before, therefore everyone is copying. Plus the SS aren't even stussy logo, they don't have copyright rights behind it, it was released as a design for a line. Stussy only copyrighted logo is this one
