Your prices are pretty steep for such a simple shirt.

The triangle/eye combo has been done too much. The design isn't bad but as a consumer if I saw this I'd probably groan and say "Another Illuminati/occult symbolism. Give it a break,"

@apollolifestyle I'd have to agree about that new shirt as a consumer i don't care for it because it has been done so many times but if you dig it, run with it. I will say the top triangle looks like its pushed to the right a little to much and the white triangles at the bottom look a little weird with its size.

So instead of trolling, how about you actually give some actual feedback? Honestly it was a concept that got a lot of good feedback and we wanted to see what people on here(the few that actually gave a fuck) thought. How'd we bombard you "constant self-promoting jabber" ?

I'm having trouble finding the right type of crew-neck to embellish my designs with!
What's a good brand of wholesale crew-neck sweatshirts that are fitted and not super baggy, with a quality touch and feel?
My ideal crewneck would look like this with the stitching in the collar and the shoulders.
What kind of sweatshirt is that?
Any and all help is appreciated!!!
I'm pretty sure LRG uses all cut and sew so you likely can't buy that sweatshirt blank.
As far as I know, Alternative Apparel would be the best option for you to get this style, they don't have the same stitching but the fit and quality is nice.

Since we're posting horribly mocked-up shirts, here's something of mine.

First you guys came here with the olive branches, and everyone said no. Yet, you still do it anyways. Now you come to us with this shirt, and you're still getting the same reaction. Are you here to get people's opinion or are you here just to see people say what you want to hear?

Lol but we didn't do the branches. Those aren't leaves. You can say whatever you want, we just wanted feedback that wasn't someone trolling. We appreciated everyone's responses for the most part and do listen...

I've been meaning to ask this question for a while but it kept slipping my mind. It's actually two questions.

How much capital did you start out with for your first go round? And how much did you end up spending on samples and stuff for your first go round?

Question goes for everybody who's willing to answer obviously. I don't feel it's a "secret" question to ask like manufacturers and stuff so I figured I'd ask it.
Well I originally looked into registering my brand and everything and the shit was ridiculous. In my state they wanted to pay $50 just to register the business, and then $500 for a sales tax certificate, so that I could collect sales taxes from the customers. The hell with that! Now I'm just going to do a small run of about 15 pieces. I'm going to buy 15 sweatshirts in 5 different sizes, then take em to local screenprinting and embroidery shops. Post em on my website and keep it moving. For tags you should look online for someone without a minimum order quantity. Poly-mailers are pretty cheap but you can't really buy those individually. All together I don't plan on spending anymore than about $400 remember this is for 15 shirts.
Thats a rip off. Talk to a better shop. With $400 I could get 20 alternative or american apparel and have my screenprinter order the shirts and print/embroider them. You could get double that if you used a generic brand like gildan. Way less work instead of getting them yourself. Starting out you think it'll be ok doing it all yourself but once things pick up and you realize all the other aspects of running a business you'll realize most of the time it's cheaper and time saving to have things outsourced. And not having a sales certificate will catch up with you.

It's a cool concept but the white triangles and the big eye just doesn't make sense. Not trying to hate. Take your time with your designs.

Sales tax certificate depends on where you live though.

I live in a state where there is no sales tax on clothes so why pay for it if it won't be used? Doesn't make sense financially to me.

@rawtee I think its too minimal man almost to the point that it doesn't look completed (or even close). You have your brand name in the same text you do for your lookbook and shop which i think looks weird. i think the brand name should at least appear a little different and maybe put it centered at the top and then have the look book, info and shop accross the bottom with your social media links underneath that. i also think centering the logo (if that is in fact your logo) on the site would make it more visually appealing. the blog is definately seems to be the most well put together out of everything on your site. I feel as though your minimalist approach is too minimal and almost seems "half-assed". no hate here i'm just giving you my opinion. keep grinding G.
