You guys want to critique some of my gear while I'm working on fall stuff? I've been doing this for about a year solid and I need to hear what more people think....I trust a hypebeast to ALWAYS tell me what they feel! -h_h-

My brand's name is Hungry Human. The about page can explain a lot, but it's basically gear for the people that never quit or settle in anything they do.I get inspiration from a bunch of places, but I have a love for fighting games, streetwear, funny stuff and pop culture, so it prob. shows most! Haha.

Each piece has a strong story/inspiration and takes maybe 6-8 months, they're printed on American Apparel with usually waterbased inks because the feel and print techniques are superior and having the garment "breathe" is great for keeping the perspiration down...

Check out http://hungry-human.com to see some posts and about, and please tell me what you think good or bad about the gear as well.It helps me a ton! -h_h-

I woul not wear this.....

It's fun though and theres a huge market for this. I just don't wear cartoony t-shirts.

That's stating the obvious...haha.Anything you would want on a tee though? What kind of brands do you wear and what kind of aesthetics speak to you? I like doing a few different things, so you never know...something like that may pop up!-h_h-

I like simple and clean aesthetics. Supreme, Fuct, Fucking Awesome, Stray Rats, aNYthing, DQM.

There's nothing wrong with being animated as a brand. Look at bape, ice cream and BBC. I love that shit, also love the hundreds too.

YOUR DOUBLE TAP SHIRT IS ILL! love it.

Totally got it now.I actually have some stuff you may enjoy later on then.Totally understand.I actually see in illustration, so these are easy to direct and get the desired result.

I'm doing some things differently that I will explain on my blog though.I'm really interested to see what your guys reaction will be closer to winter.

Clean is kind of my aesthetic,so I get excited when you mention that as it forces me to work with foreign styles in hopes of making things guys like you and even myself these days would enjoy.Thank you so much for the feedback! -h_h-

your from sac?

I honestly think its kinda lame. A headwear 'program' or 'collection' or 'series' makes me think of more than one hat. In addition, its really nothing special, all you did was get blank beanies and put your tag on them. If you got custom beanies I could see it being used as a collection of sorts but making a 'program' out of it is just lame to me. All you did was drop a beanie with a patch on it.
In addition the 3pm drop time and "while supplies last" tag lines make it even worse. IMO its a silly way to try to drum up hype especially since its just a beanie not a line for a certain season.

This release is more of a precursor to our 5 panel camps. With the whole 'program' deal, we made it so because we plan to have headwear be a major part of our brand. Also, 'while supplies last' makes complete sense considering we create very limited quantities of items. Moreover, yes the beanies are wholesale but they were purchased based on top grade quality and all labels were hand-sewn in house to add a personal touch. But I see what your saying. Again, this forum is frequented by people who know the business alot better than your average consumer. People that buy the toques rarely consider the fact that they are bought at a cheap wholesale price - the same goes with screenprinted t-shirts and hoodies.

Either way, this isn't our big release this month. It will come.

I want to release this as a sticker.

I also want to release these shirts, although I'm not big on placing actual pictures on tees I thought this was priceless. Only thing is I've had this sitting for over a month now, I just feel like something is missing. If there's anybody who's audience is more towards the hip hop/Strong messages/urban streetwear crowd I'd be more than thankful for your input.

I really don't see why this is getting dislikes, I think I'm going to have to cop that crewneck sweater. Do you ship to the US?

@minsct fair enough, I still think that the tagline 'while supplies last' is unnecessary considering that is essentially a subjective idea but I guess just do what you gotta do to make a profit.

I definitely think this is a powerful picture but I think the slogan on the top and bottom is cliché and it draws away from the actual picture. Considering the picture is so powerful, I would suggest letting it speak for itself or if you are really set on the text, make it smaller more like a caption under the picture. Just my 2¢.

I think a tan suede under brim with a matching tan strap on the back would look sick on that hat!!!

How is Harmony Korine's work related to your brand? Sort of odd to have that as an advertisement for your brand.

It's good enough to sell to your friends in small runs. But it doesn't really do anything for me as this idea has been ran into the ground by just about everybody.

I say make a few and see how they sell despite my 2 cents. But don't make like 100 or anything crazy. -h_h-

Definitely man, I might do like 3-5 tops and then just do special requests on it. I mean I've gotten great feedback on it, but I don't know if it translates into sales

Nothing wrong with being adventures.
Better to make a design on print, then sit on it and see someone else make the same concept shirt and the only thing you can say is I had the same idea...

from my experience, the feedback i go off of most is from the people that buy my stuff/ the fans. you don't have any just yet, so you gotta stick something out and see what they like.

everyone will tell you your stuff is nice.everyone that critiqued my stuff said it was 'nice',but not one of them said they'd buy it. so you kind of have to listen to feedback, but also listen to that little paypal notifier that says,'hey, i bought it",that's the real confirmation you're doing something right....or at least the one that keeps you and your brand afloat. Make sense? Hope that helps!

These are clean, nice and simple. The colors of the beanie's are nice too. Only thing is I would've made the label a little larger or maybe a different shape. How much do you plan on selling these for?
