How do you guys feel about company Facebooks? Here's pretty much what I'm getting at:

A) Don't release a Facebook until your company has a strong following (Even though it is a great marketing tool)

B) Start with a Facebook off rip and hope for the likes to come ( Not having a few thousand likes makes your company look weak and may question buyers as to why no one likes the company)

Its sad its almost unprofessional to NOT have a Facebook as well.

I'd say you should have a facebook page the day you launch your brand. It definately does not hurt and gives you more chance to gain exposure. The internet is one of your best marketing tools. Use it!

I think if you do have a Facebook for your brand keep your post relevant to the brand. Can't stand when "brands" share and post those dumb Tumblr pics or the ones that share the irrelevant cliche ones that have nothing to do with their brand or their quality.

It's been quite a while since I've stopped through this thread. Good to see the abundance of creativity still prevalent.

Setting personal trials and tribulations aside, these past months I've been plodding away with artwork primarily for both print and album purposes. It's been amazing to work with some very talented artists across artistic fields.

In the meantime, I've placed all of the La Mash logo collection on sale, for the sake of pursuing new ventures. If you're a fan of the La Riders set, my art, or just the Bomber logo itself, do swoop a tee for the low. As a bonus, enter the promo code DELAHYPE to get 25% off your order.

True.
Why not use facebook ads to get your product in front of the right people, then launch a page if the leads work out.

@la mash you did the logo yourself?

Absolutely. La Mash is a design studio and creative entity, the tees and accessories came about as a fun way to rep it. I handle nearly all aspects of La Mash, both business and creative, from start to finish.

@la mash i can respect that. Keep up the good work

They do that for the hits. Post recent news or youtube videos that have a lot of hits so when people search those terms on google hit links to their facebook pop up as well. SEO key wordsand such. It's smart to filter in views and possible likes.

Looks cool, but in all honestly I wouldn't do that on 100's let alone so big. That ish is illegal and could come back to you with ease. If anything do it on smaller bills that more people are going to have. 1's, 5's 10's, 20's; or you could always use a stamp. Just my thoughts though. Good luck with that.

5-panel fabric? good?

My personal taste would say no to this. Having some knowledge of hat manufacturing I would say that the glossyness of your fabric might not look so good on a hat or be comfortable for the wearer. Ideally, 5 panels and most other hats are best made with cotton twill or fabric with a mild stiffness. Just something to consider.

I agree it doesn't hurt and the internet is the best. But no one thinks the amount of likes you have on your fb page doesn't reflect on the image of the brand?

I am looking to start up my own brand soon and I got all things figured basically.
I know what shirts, print, illustrator etc to use.

All I am missing is what brand crewneck sweater to go for?
Looking for something with high quality and needs to be warm.

End product will cost about 150-200 dollar. So the blank crewneck can be a bit expensive as long as its very high quality and warm.

If you don't want to post it here send me a personal message.
Either way, I am in no way a competitor as I live in Africa.

What in hell are you going to put on a blank crew neck that will make it worth "150-200 dollar"?

Yep, I've been friends with Nef for several years. I've designed the album art to a considerable amount of his discography over the span of our acquaintance (The Dream Theory, For the Night Time, More than Music, etc.). It's actually kind of dope to trace his progression as a musician across albums, and see how they coincide with my progression as an artist through the covers.
