Starting a New Line/Brand Feedback Thread

I just feel as long as you're not completely ripping off from another brand and not half assing with your work, whatever your vision is will work as long as you're pushing and expanding is right. Every brand takes criticism, don't change what you do because somebody else with different taste than you doesn't like an idea you put out.

The line has already dropped but was still wondering what some of you guys think? Browse through the lookbook and give me some opinions.

What does the brand stand for?
If it already dropped you need more social media. Blog only has 1 entry.
Not really my style but I would say work on getting yourself more established. Build a solid fondation.
having jackets, beanie and a variety of stuff is cool and all but you need to build a fondation first or you'll burn out to quickly.

i got 5 different colorway ideas, but i dont know which 3 i should pick

hey i know what you mean tho. but i think CMNLYUSD is too long. even if its more understandable i still think CMLYUD is better and short.. the more you see it the more people will know its commonly used.

Something to think about. If people don't know who Commonly Used in the first place how are they going to be able to determine who CMLYUD is. The term itself is not a "commonly used" term

idk about you bro but if you really wanted to know something what would you do? go online and search right? i know what you mean tho. to be honest, if people want to fuck with 'cmlyud' or 'commonly used' and want to know more they would go out and search. im not really the type to brag or im not really in this for the flashy lights and shit, but to me i love it when people do research. i mean look, if someone saw "CMLYUD" they would wonder what it is and maybe ask someone or go do some research. around my area, thats what people have been doing and ive been getting some buzz out of it... its a mystery my nigga. hahaha.. people who search more, those are ones i wanna target.. its all love man

dont get me wrong tho, i love hearing people's opinions. but alot of them love to push it to where they think they know better, but im not gonna hesitate to make my own mistakes. also something to think about, dont let anyone fuck with your dream

True. That helps single out the fan boys and the long term supports. The fact that you have your market pin pointed already is good.
I Google searched CMLYUD and your site came up which is a good thing.
I just didn't know if it was a common term you used on your site until now, or just something new you were trying out.
But by all means in no way was I trying to detour you in your dream though. I just like to play the opposite end sometimes.

I launched my line 6 months ago and it went very well (Based in London) It was all done online. Every design is hand done and I screen-print each t-shirt myself.

Within the 6 months I managed to get a shop in London to sell my gear (GShock East)

Those last two shirts and the other various colors...crack! Simplistic and clean (although I personally dont do skulls). All the same, good job...especially since they're hand done.

just going to introduce myself, my name is Tyler and I have been drawing/designing since I can remember and have a bachelors in visual art/graphic design, which I received about a year ago. recently I started dipping into creating my own products to keep myself even busier than my life already is.
