Photoshop and Illustrator are industry standard, although Illustrator is used for logos.

I know but the only problem is the price. Any way to get either for free?

finally got a logo, sort of. It is in the works. What do any of you guys think? Also, what is the best software for this type of shit other than photoshop or illustrator? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I actually like the name other than the goods part but the logo sucks. The cooper black trend needs to stop and originality/hand drawn designs need to start.
Illustrator or Photoshop are the only legitimate ways to make any graphics. If you don't have the money, torrent it or download the free trial and reinstall your computer software every month when the trial expires so you can download it again. Or find someone with it that is willing to give it to you and then just get a serial number off the internet.

I appreciate the feedback, it means a lot.

I understand what you mean about people needing to start trying their own stuff, but I was really only experimenting with different things and this is what looked best. I will adhere to your advice and try to find someone with photoshop and illustrator, though.

I have some good ideas on paper that I have hand drawn, but I really just didn't know how to apply it, if you know what I mean. I really want to keep it simple, though. That's one of my goals.

And yeah, thanks for the constructive criticism! Hopefully I can make something better next time and hopefully by then I will have better software. Thanks!

I love a brand with good presentation. Those bags are dope, might have to steal that idea.

What does the brand stand for?
If it already dropped you need more social media. Blog only has 1 entry.
Not really my style but I would say work on getting yourself more established. Build a solid fondation.
having jackets, beanie and a variety of stuff is cool and all but you need to build a fondation first or you'll burn out to quickly.

i got 5 different colorway ideas, but i dont know which 3 i should pick

hey i know what you mean tho. but i think CMNLYUSD is too long. even if its more understandable i still think CMLYUD is better and short.. the more you see it the more people will know its commonly used.

Something to think about. If people don't know who Commonly Used in the first place how are they going to be able to determine who CMLYUD is. The term itself is not a "commonly used" term

idk about you bro but if you really wanted to know something what would you do? go online and search right? i know what you mean tho. to be honest, if people want to fuck with 'cmlyud' or 'commonly used' and want to know more they would go out and search. im not really the type to brag or im not really in this for the flashy lights and shit, but to me i love it when people do research. i mean look, if someone saw "CMLYUD" they would wonder what it is and maybe ask someone or go do some research. around my area, thats what people have been doing and ive been getting some buzz out of it... its a mystery my nigga. hahaha.. people who search more, those are ones i wanna target.. its all love man

dont get me wrong tho, i love hearing people's opinions. but alot of them love to push it to where they think they know better, but im not gonna hesitate to make my own mistakes. also something to think about, dont let anyone fuck with your dream smile

I just feel as long as you're not completely ripping off from another brand and not half assing with your work, whatever your vision is will work as long as you're pushing and expanding is right. Every brand takes criticism, don't change what you do because somebody else with different taste than you doesn't like an idea you put out.

True. That helps single out the fan boys and the long term supports. The fact that you have your market pin pointed already is good.
I Google searched CMLYUD and your site came up which is a good thing.
I just didn't know if it was a common term you used on your site until now, or just something new you were trying out.
But by all means in no way was I trying to detour you in your dream though. I just like to play the opposite end sometimes.

I dunno where to post so I thought I'd post here.

I launched my line 6 months ago and it went very well (Based in London) It was all done online. Every design is hand done and I screen-print each t-shirt myself.

Within the 6 months I managed to get a shop in London to sell my gear (GShock East)

If anyone lives around East London feel free to check it out !

Heres how it looks like in store and some other random pictures.

http://instagr.am/p/OyltO9Th0H/
http://instagr.am/p/Oy0QUDzh7G/
http://instagr.am/p/OxBjGDThxD/
http://instagr.am/p/OjlpVNTh3T/
http://instagr.am/p/OjloSqzh3S/

Those last two shirts and the other various colors...crack! Simplistic and clean (although I personally dont do skulls). All the same, good job...especially since they're hand done.
Why's your website down?

Thank you very much ! And I appreciate the feedback.
Im not gunna lie, I'm a massive fan of Mastermind and I love Pirates and the manga One Piece so I went with the Skull. It was a tricky decision cause I know skulls are a bit played out, so I knew I had to add a lil twist to the design rather than just draw a basic skull.

The skull is a symbol of perseverance (thats why there is a tally on the forehead) because it took me ages to draw it how I liked, now every time I see that logo I dont forget, its an instant reminder.

And I have a website www.pirasy.com < but I really want to remake it, make the website cleaner and more user friendly. So now I just take orders via Twitter or my Facebook

I like all of them except for the Yo one, the Sticker one.... and the OG one is decent....

The logo is cool and simple. IMO i wouldve dont the logo smaller on the shirt, but thats just my preference.

The Happy and Unsuccessful one is on point.

I'd like to see more shit.

actually.... the logo small on the left chest (pocket print) and large on the back would be a better approach... but that's just my opninion. This is your brand so run it freely.

for a new line, it's not bad. i like some of the designs, but i'd never wear it, i don't smoke and i dislike brands that revolve around smoking weed. but for those who do, i think you hit that niche dead on. good luck
