fuck it. I like the commonly used shit. Squiggles are nice because everyone is always trying to be so beat. It's disgusting. I love vulgar language on clothing too. Shock factor is great, moms needs to get over it. I think cmnlyusd does make more sense but it's your label and Igbo know your label is called commonly used I'll understand whatever you choose. Anyone have or know where I can get real looking t shirt mock ups in psd files? Ones such as this one:

If I can change the color of them on PS AND you have the front and back images...that'd be perfect. PM me if you have them/it.

Thanks!

Edit: This supplied image is a jpg...is there anyway I can change the color of just the shirt through photoshop?

illustration is disappointing given previous releases. looks like something from squidbillies if you're familiar.
I like the front font.

otherwise, orange, green and black.

thanks for the feedback. squidbillies, ive seen it but never watched it in my life.

i got 5 different colorway ideas, but i dont know which 3 i should pick

Maybe you could use something else than "Fuck It" on the shirt? What comes first in my mind is Huf and In4mation with their "Fuck It" -tees. What comes to the colors first two from the top (black & green).

i feel it. i just looked at their "fuck it" releases and its far from what i did. the character i drew up is grimey and hes holding a joint and a 40oz like fuck it ima get wasted. i like huf and in4mation's release tho, but 'fuck it' could be universal

They all look good, but on the back you should have it say CMNLYUSD. It just is more understandable than CMLYUD, you know?

hey i know what you mean tho. but i think CMNLYUSD is too long. even if its more understandable i still think CMLYUD is better and short.. the more you see it the more people will know its commonly used.

Not a terrible look but just one thing. Gildan are the worst fitting t's.

Hmm, ill keep that in mind! thanks for the feedback!

subjective.

i think gildan tees fit great. I don't like the material, it's a bit light, but that's another thing.

What does the brand stand for?
If it already dropped you need more social media. Blog only has 1 entry.
Not really my style but I would say work on getting yourself more established. Build a solid fondation.
having jackets, beanie and a variety of stuff is cool and all but you need to build a fondation first or you'll burn out to quickly.

Something to think about. If people don't know who Commonly Used in the first place how are they going to be able to determine who CMLYUD is. The term itself is not a "commonly used" term

1. Select the Magic Eraser and set the tolerance to about 10 and then erase the white background
2. Select the area outside the shirt and do Select > Inverse
3. Create a new layer and use the paint bucket and fill it with white
4. Right click the new layer and select blending options.
5. In blending options, change the blend mode to multiply. Select Color Overlay on left and change blend mode to multiply.
6. Now you can easily change your color in color overlay!

This is a shot of one of the shirts I created. (have a few more styles than this one) Looking for a little feedback on if you think a design like this would sell or not. I have about 120 of them already created.

I dunno where to post so I thought I'd post here.

I launched my line 6 months ago and it went very well (Based in London) It was all done online. Every design is hand done and I screen-print each t-shirt myself.

Within the 6 months I managed to get a shop in London to sell my gear (GShock East)

If anyone lives around East London feel free to check it out !

Heres how it looks like in store and some other random pictures.

Those last two shirts and the other various colors...crack! Simplistic and clean (although I personally dont do skulls). All the same, good job...especially since they're hand done.

Photoshop and Illustrator are industry standard, although Illustrator is used for logos.

I actually like the name other than the goods part but the logo sucks. The cooper black trend needs to stop and originality/hand drawn designs need to start.
Illustrator or Photoshop are the only legitimate ways to make any graphics. If you don't have the money, torrent it or download the free trial and reinstall your computer software every month when the trial expires so you can download it again. Or find someone with it that is willing to give it to you and then just get a serial number off the internet.

I appreciate the feedback, it means a lot.

I understand what you mean about people needing to start trying their own stuff, but I was really only experimenting with different things and this is what looked best. I will adhere to your advice and try to find someone with photoshop and illustrator, though.

I have some good ideas on paper that I have hand drawn, but I really just didn't know how to apply it, if you know what I mean. I really want to keep it simple, though. That's one of my goals.

And yeah, thanks for the constructive criticism! Hopefully I can make something better next time and hopefully by then I will have better software. Thanks!

idk about you bro but if you really wanted to know something what would you do? go online and search right? i know what you mean tho. to be honest, if people want to fuck with 'cmlyud' or 'commonly used' and want to know more they would go out and search. im not really the type to brag or im not really in this for the flashy lights and shit, but to me i love it when people do research. i mean look, if someone saw "CMLYUD" they would wonder what it is and maybe ask someone or go do some research. around my area, thats what people have been doing and ive been getting some buzz out of it... its a mystery my nigga. hahaha.. people who search more, those are ones i wanna target.. its all love man

dont get me wrong tho, i love hearing people's opinions. but alot of them love to push it to where they think they know better, but im not gonna hesitate to make my own mistakes. also something to think about, dont let anyone fuck with your dream smile
