thanks...

that's sorta the market i sell to most... Tapout/Affliction fans. i like to get opinions from the streetwear realm though because those are the styles that inspire me. i know my designs don't really fit the HB mold but this is where i get the best criticism. i'm not worried about stepping on 10 Deep's toes, if you will, because i attract a fan base that is most likely not familiar with 10 Deep.

@angry-chair not really feeling the knife logo, but I like the effect you used on the second picture with the fire.

ay everyone who is listening...
Starting a local Baltimore brand with my friend. We will hopefully have some pocket tees by late october, early november.

We just made a facebook page, and we would really appreciate the support if you could like it.
http://www.facebook.com/harborgoods

We will hopefully have some preliminary ideas for the tees up in the next week or so. Also, we need help coming up with a logo. If anyone is up for it, shoot me an email with like a cool logo design or whatever, that would be sweet.

garpres@comcast.net

The brand is called Harbor, or Harbor Goods, Harbor Ltd., etc

we would really appreciate the support.

Peace!

Garrett

If your in the game to make pocket tees and get other people to completely design your logo, then your not going to be round for long.

Why make a facebook page for your biz, ask for people to support and like it when you dont have a logo, and wont have product for months.

what is the rush? why not develop your brand, logo, product before promoting it.

I would have to agree ....there is no rush..seems like alot of new brands try to rush and get things going before even having a solid identity as a brand and a good foundation as business..take you time develop it more i would say dont get on a forum asking for help with YOUR brand logo or name...

Pretty much posting these to show y'all what not to do lol. Got the photos back from our recent shoot. Lighting was bad and background was off. So we are doing it all over again.
But it was a good experience playing around and learning some stuff.
I'm also in the process of "recreating" the brand and establishing the name more. Something I should have done in the beginning but got side tracked with trying to fund the brand. But oh well. I have already broke even with all the money spent and have extra to spare. The Summer/Fall line from my perspective goes way harder then my recent mediocre stuff. Just happy I had this reality check sooner then later.

yo bro....check out cowboy studios, get that paper background. much better than the cloth.

Link

they also have a few full photo lighting kits for kinda cheap.

Thanks for the link. That is cheap. Forgot all about paper. We ended buying shower curtains because I knew sheets would be to thin.

After seeing Highly Honored photos I'm really feeling the black backgrounds.

Honestly, it reminds me of Akuma's necklace from Street Fighter so with that in mind you'd almost be better off doing that. More people would find that catchy, plus you wouldn't really have to worry about any copyrights or anything especially if you are starting off. Just in idea.

Was wondering if paying a company would be better compared to printing on my own for screen print.i understand that it will be cheaper if i do it but i feel that it might be better quality.

Everything mentioned above is correct. Right off the bat I would say price out and find multiple screen printers and see their quality. I've seen some who's paint fads after the first wash and others who have high quality. Luckily for us ours is the best in the city, does our local skatepark S.P.O.T.S's shirts and it's basically a hidden gem. Don't rush it though man, just do your research first. Buying your own printer with out knowing that this is going to be what you do a long time is not worth the money and headache. Best of luck.
