In my opinion. Usually when I see a big.cartel store it is a turn off. But lets be real, the individuals you are communicating with in this forum are generally well-informed on the industry. Other people may not give a fuck.

i was just taking a guess to why you see alot of start ups use bigcartel. why is bigcartel a turn off?

When you know better, you do better.

Big cartel is not the only option. And with the amount of money you guys spend on the "montly fees" you can purchase a URL from GoDaddy and have it hosted for a yearly subscription and still come out cheaper. And have the control over however many shirts you want.
I have posted this a few times in here.

i personally see bigcartel as a temporary solution. it's a quick, inexpensive alternative to a full site/webstore. once a brand starts making money they should transition to a full custom site... at least i would

big cartel is great. i love it, it's easily customizable and has great stats. www.distantlight.co/products - you wouldn't even guess it's bigcartel.

yeah but adding the hosting a year + SSL it can get quite expensive

nothing wrong with bigcartel

there are other options, im sure that whatever way you choose to host your webstore will be fine.

the main focus should be quality designs...lots of brands, with good designs, use bigcartel and have no problem doing good business....on the flip side, if your designs are not marketable, then not even the most elaborate web hosting will help.

Also just something I noticed.
Everything is set to the left of the screen. Don't know if this was done on purpose but it's not setup to be "big computer screen" eye friendly.

better. That other one looks pretty damn close to 10 Deep. And the above font does not look to over used.

why would someone want to spend money on your brand? why would someone want to purchase this tank? there is nothing fundamentally wrong the the design, but i literally could not be less interested into it. name, establish date, and logo - there's really nothing special about it. no hate, just feedback

I think you should go back to the drawing board with these, the design isn't particularly intriguing and I'm not a fan of the colors you used. Also they are wrinkled, take your time with this man.

the overall design doesn't draw me in. almost too generic. not feeling the color of the shirts used. the Uphustle logo would look better bigger and just by itself but as long as you changed that so its not rectangular like supreme box logo.

But the same thing can be said about your design;

At the end of the day a logo shirt is just that; a logo. Anyone could see your "light" tee and say the same thing you said. It all boils down to marketing and targeting the proper audience. Good luck to you both.

to be honest i thought it would bring comparisons to Converse. that's why i went with the other logo for our initial gear but i might fix up the star one and start using it.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Anyone know of a really high quality US manufacturer of 5 panels and snaps (LOW MINIMUMS) ?
Please dont come at me with that research stuff. Trust me I have.
I HAVE found a super high quality US manufacturer that does supply for well.. a couple brands we have all heard of.
But they have minimums of 288. I am getting one style done by them. BUT I want to do a really exclusive small run of a print on a 5 panel and Im getting pretty desperate ?) to find one who can do super low numbers for what I am looking for.

I am willing to give my manufacturer up.and throw you a snapback when I get them printed. Scouts honor.
OR PAY$$ blushing
