Yo guys, I'm having a small sale. Enter the code 'JULY4TH' at checkout and you will get 20% off your order.
www.distantlight.co

a 20% off sale a week after the launch?

is there something wrong with that?

Think he is trying to say that it's a bit strange for a brand to have a sale so soon after the launch. Suggests that nothing is selling.

yea thats what i was thinking a discount already makes me thinking nothing is moving

I personally believe this is just another pocket t-shirt 'brand'. There is nothing to it. I don't understand why anyone would want a finger puppet sticking out there shirt!?

Also $35 for a shirt i could make myself for $15 is ridiculous.

your promo pic is terrible......
but i like the tee and the customization aspect. If marketed correctly (and to the right consumer)...you may be on to something.

this pic is better:

Frinners point is exactly what I thought when I saw that post. A brand new line already having a sale does give off that impression.

Ask a baseball team coach where the team actually has jerseys. Local, little league, minor league. Doesn't matter.

Do you guys have any recommendations for headwear manufacturers? Premier Fits seems pretty popular as of late, but I'd rather compare minimums and prices before I get some hats in production.

yeh...Kazbah takes 35%, you get 65%...you set your own price. sell your tee for $30 you get $18.90..they get $11.10

with wholesale accounts...the typically wholesale price is $14...and the store sells for whatever they want..usually a lil more than double what they paid so $28- 30 (so you basically only get 50% of the retail)

most profitable is direct to customer...your own website...you get the full retail amount.

its best to have a really good mix of all 3.
