hey dudes, im looking on stocking up on a few nice l/s oxford buttondown shirts, i like stuff pretty slim fitting, so i was wondering where you thought had the best fitting shirts, price isnt a major issue but i'd rather not have to sell my own lungs to fund it.

im 6 foot 2 and like 175lbs

uniqlo is pretty decent for $20-$30. The best is of course MTM (made to measure).

Has anyone ever seen a black oxford? I can't seem to find one. I figure Uniqlo probably has one but I'd really rather bypass placing an email order and having to wait a week to hear back...

club monaco fits perfect on me like MTM. usually find them for 30 bux on sale and the oxford cloth is thick and stays in great shape after washing/drying too.

def. my favorite.

^^ co-sign. club monaco is hands down 1 of my favourite stores. best fitting everything.

i bought an oxford from muji recently, and their fit is very mtm. i have uniqlo oxfords too, and by far muji has a better fit. i like how the muji one trims the back part for u, with 2 cuts near the middle to lower back so it fits just right.

When it comes to button downs (of any variety, not just oxfords), I literally will not wear anything that isn't Rugby. As far as I'm concerned, the best off-the-rack shirt you can buy under $100. Dunno about their presence in the UK, so they might be a little hard to get.

Check out Brooks Brothers Extra Slim Fit oxfords if Rugby is hard to get; they run about the same price as Rugby does and from what I've seen and heard, the quality and fit are about on par with Rugby.

Having a hard time finding those rugby ones outside of the US, they look really on point as well, so I might have to give something else a go or see if they ship internationally
