im just wondering.. whats up with all the hype about uniqlo?
when i went on my trips to shanghai in the summer and saw uniqlo stores, they were just like big stores with all your basic tees, sweaters pants, jeans and then some decent stuff, nothing too special.

i didnt realize it was such a big thing until i got onto hb a while back, now i feel like i missed out on copping a lot of uniqlo stuff :/

lol its more like i didnt pay close enough attention to what kind of stuff i could have bought when i was there.. i just went in went out basically and barely checked it out.

you could say the same about American Apparel.

Uniqlo's quality's good for their price. And their oxfords fit great.

I have a couple of $30 T-000 beaters, and they're dope. Probably the best fit I've had in denim.

exactly what i meant earlier, when i saw the t-000 fits and price, i wasnt too happy that i missed the opprutunity :/

definitely my favorite store anywhere

shit's cheaper than AA, fits better, better quality IMO

I think UNIQLO slipped with the quality/designs of their denim, it was more on point in '08-'09

uniqlo is like old navy. they sell pretty much the same type of things, basics. but the cuts are different and the quality too. uniqlo still the best store for basics though

lol, i live in vancouver bc, and yeah like the people above said, i thought uniqlo was just another basic clothing store, located in the big malls etc. just that it was more 'asian'

^thats how it is outside of the US. theres a lot of uniqlos in asia and european countries. and only one in the US

noooooo! just went to uniqlo recently and to my dismay, oxfords are now $25. guess it was bound to happen since it was one of their best selling products.

uniqlo is definitely a perfect choice for base clothing such as inner t-shirt, socks, and pants.
Especially, their ankle socks were amazing because inside ankle socks, they have a number of sticky dots. So it never came off from my feet. I couldn't find any similar ankle socks in the U.S. yet.

shit, went to uniqlo in shanghai this winter break too. their winter season sucks.. the last time i shopped at uniqlo was 2 summers ago and they had some dope gear. their oxfords went down in quality too |0
