What kind of shoes do you guys wear when your wearing a dressy shirt and jeans? Or also with shorts? Apart from Clarks desert boots. Stuff like derby shoes or brogues?

Not a fan of brogues, I think people who aren't filthy rich have a hard time making them look natural. I really don't think you need to go too complex for semi-formal, chucks / vans.

Either driver moccasins (Tod's makes the original at a steep $350+, although Banana Republic makes nice ones in the $100 range) or my Cole Haan Santa Barbara loafers. The air bubble they use (Nike Air technology) makes them look a bit more casual than your standard dress loafer. Then again, I also wear them with suits.

P.S. - Although my standard go-to non-sneaker casual shoe is my Clarks Wallabees.

If you're looking for something dressy but different Jeffrey Campbell, which most people think only makes womens shoes, actually makes some pretty legit casual dress shoes, called The Crayton. I have a pair in blue/gray that were my go-to wedding/semi-formal party shoe last fall/winter

Really depends on how nice your jeans are and how dressy your dress shoes are. I usually roll some topsiders, some less dressy brown dress shoes, or some brown loafers if I am going to be wearing jeans and still be "dressy."
