hit up your army surplus', quality should be far better than normal cheap ones eg. H&M, Uniqlo, of course not to put the brands dow. If you can fly planes, or ride the seven sea's in them bad boys, Im sure this can last through the harsh cold and shitty weather that is bestowed amongst all with an army surplus peacoat.


Woot first post. Im glad hypebeast opened registrations. But anyway, I agree. My uncle gave me his old ww2 peacoat and it's super warm and still has so much life in it. Also, you cant go wrong with a classic look.

i ended up getting the Kenneth Cole Reaction peacoat at Macys for $70. it seems thin but is surprisingly warm. i put it through the test walking through downtown pittsburgh during this mid-atlantic blizzard.

I copped a peacoat from an army navy surplus store for like $40/$50 roughly 3 years ago. I still wear it. It was a Jordan Craig one. Laugh if you want but it's one of the best coats I've ever worn. It has moderate insulation and is heavy.

This looks like the one used by Robert Pattinson in the movie Twilight, except for the color. It was gray if I'm not mistaken.
