whats a good color scheme that would match with a cardigan like this.

it kinda like that, maybe a bit lighter not a whole lot tho.
I'm trying to find what shirt color would really go well with this as well as the pants color and shoes. Btw this is for a formal event so i was thinking on the lines of blueish oxford from uniqlo, skinny dark navy tie, the cardi, some dark slacks, and dress shoes but i honestly dont noe. Does this color scheme even work? help me out here.

A navy blue dress shirt with a dark red tie would look good with that cardigan

navy blue and dark red look good together.

Hmm...I'd think the dress shoe is good since its a formal event and i think the initial set up is fine already. The cardigan, lines of blueish oxford from uniqlo, maybe changing to a skinny black tie? plus a dark slacks with black dress shoe.
My suggestion is based mainly due to the formal event.

hm...from wat i can picture is that, a shirt (colour of choice, lines, or strips) with a dark slacks (nylon-ish can go well with shirt from Uniqlo) and a dark cardigan. IMHO, all these are fine, as long as the cardigan and the slacks matches well in colour, which is dark in this context.
The rest is about ur shoes and tie. I recommended black dress shoes and tie, because i dont know the actual colour of ur clothings, maybe u can play around with the colour of the tie, somebody advice on dark red tie, which is not bad too smile

Hope it helps
