Regarding the H&M and Zara varsity jackets, I saw them in person and decided to pass on both.
H&M
The H&M varsity is a reasonable price ($59). The wool body is nice and I probably would have purchased it if the entire varsity was wool, but the pleather ruined it for me. Seeing the jacket in person, the pleather sleeves would wrinkle like crazy and pleather material just looks bad in general.
ZARA
The Zara varsity jacket is nicer than the H&M one, but I could never spend $89 (would have come out to a little under $100 after tax) on a cotton varsity jacket. Spend about $50 or $60 more and you can get yourself a Mister all-wool varsity jacket. If this was priced the same as the H&M one, I would have definitely bought it, though.
