Has anyone checked out the Holden Kingston jacket? They got a ski coat that looks like a letter jacket as well.

Can't tell if this one is worth it, and can't post the link quite yet.

That holden jacket has leather sleeves, and I've always thought the picture on karmaloop didn't do that jacket justice. It looks way better on holden's website. Anyway, what would be some good options if I was looking to spend around $250?

The Kingston Jacket in Charcoal is made from a shell of 50% wool and 50% polyester, a body lining of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, sleeve lining of 100% polyester,


You need to handle some real leather if you think PU feels like leather bro. And for $250 you might be able to pick up something by ToJ in the marketplace or on SuFu if you're really lucky (usually FS around $400-500, but $200-300 ones do turn up sometimes).

EDIT: This model appears to be leather, though. Roughly the same price... odd.

There are quite a few TOJ's for sale on sufu and styleforum. Usually in the smaller sizes like 46 or 48. Maybe a 50 here and there, and rarely are there ever 52's. Most of the ones listed on the B&S in those forums are going for $250-$300 so that could be a good option. But definitely take a look around the B&S on several sites and you could probably cop one for a good deal. Saw a coupe W&H varsity on sale too. good luck browsing

there's a red with grey sleeves one in sz.48 on sufu, but not my size sad

My dream Jacket is an all black T0j with black a black D on the left chest. Soon enough I will have it.

Just got my NSW varsity in today. Material is extremely nice... the jacket itself and the leather isn't as thick as I expected (can't wear in much colder weather) but I'm really impressed by it.

Just got my NSW varsity in today. Material is extremely nice... the jacket itself and the leather isn't as thick as I expected (can't wear in much colder weather) but I'm really impressed by it.

would you say good for -15 degrees celcius weather? cause I live in toronto and I'm gonna get it.

You're gonna need to layer it, you'll freeze with just this and a t-shirt. The varsity isn't hooded or anything, keep that in mind. I mean, in the end it's SPORTSwear, not extreme weather gear or anything.
