The varsity jacket has a classic look to it, it's like a recognizeable and necessary piece to have in one's collection.

i think he's talking about the extra details, such as the gold satin lining, the double cuff, the extra heavy buffalo leather, etc. but imo it's a real nice varsity (although i could do without the gold satin)

i think he meant there are too many small details that seem to clutter up the piece. I like it that way, for almost all timeless pieces of clothing, its all about the little details.

I was in Paris this weekend and sow some people wearing a varsity jacket. I did see the colors light grey, navy and black and the just had the letters AC on the left sleeve. Somebody knows which brand this jacket is? or maybe a site?
Thanks

gold lining = way to bright especially on a black/black varsity
the extra heavy cuufs and rollable cuff w/e
the leather on the bottom part of the varsity
leather pocket lining
looks a bit long too

just over detailed in general, but just my opinion

Wow, hypebeast is fricken tight with these rules. I was gonna post a pic, but can't until I get my post count up, then was gonna provide a link, but same deal. I'll just give you guys a name

Shades of Greige Baseball jacket
. About $160, kinda lightweight.

I bought the Kr3w varsity as well as the Shades of Greige one, and unlike the Kr3w one, sizing up one is essential if a slim fit is what you want - twice if you like it baggy.

Wow, just like the poster above me, I cant post pics or links yet either. Oh well...

This may have been posted already but even if so, the brand is worth it. Since there is more than one and I like them all, I'll just say that Brooklyn Circus (the brand) makes some clean varsities. Since I can't show you, just go on their site, thebkcircus.com, and you can see them under shop.
