i got mine from gamestop and it was a special edition with a cover slip.

Good game but i keep on getting disconnected from xbox live and noticed some pretty bad glitches, like invisible people.

single player is fun though.

i haven't played the first but i doubt this really builds off it since that game wasn't a huge success and came out several years ago

i've played a bit and it's been quite a bit of fun, hoping for a little more action but i know that's soon to come, gta4 took a while to bring in action as well

can someone who has it please just let us know the basic controls. i mean, do you have to constantly click the A button (xbox) to run/use the horse, like in GTA4? thats basically the deciding factor for me


once u get it to speed u can just hold A to maintain speed, tap it for sprints

that's a lame reason to pass, it's still a great game that does a good job of sticking with rockstar's sandbox formula while being unique enough not to be called Grand Theft Auto: 1800s

vinnie, i guess, the controls are fairly similar but the on foot action feels MUCH tighter than gta iv

i would suggest giving it at least a rent, the free roam alone is worth the price from what i've heard and i haven't even gotten to it yet.

bubbs, i felt the exact same way hahaha

but how? Mass Effect 2, God of War 3, Halo: Reach, Heavy Rain, Starcraft 2, "Gran Turismo 5", Alan Wake, Super Mario Galaxy 2, etc.

I'm sure its a great game but it's not touching a GOTY circle in 2010.

Its a good game but I wouldn't say its goty. Its not that much different then gta iv. I lol'd when you get your first hideout and it does the same camera pan as in gtaiv. The strangers were in gta, same shooting mechanics and everything. I think its too similar to gta4 which isn't a bad thing but it didn't do anything new that's goty worthy
