anyone know any good headphones i should buy? i like a lot of bass since i listen to rap.

i found these on the ground but after about 6 months of use, one earphone went out. possibly the best headphones i've ever had. dont wanna break the bank, but might just to get them again.

ive also had the skullcandy lowriders but didnt like how they fit...

so you guize have any recommendations?

seriously i think we should have a dedicated headphone thread in the electronics section.

heres my advice, dont buy bose, skullcandies, nixons, or any "fashion" headphones.

there i just saved you alot of money.

skullcandies are fucking worthless

i have sony mdr-d333's on which are supra aural and pretty comfy, but the cord is fucking stupid and i hate it. it like retracts into the headphone which is theoretically a good idea but the gears fuck up like a week after buying it and they constantly retract while you're listening to them. so i just put an elastic band up there to stop it from retracting. they'd be great headphones for the money you paid if the cord wasn't so fucking retarded.

skullcandy - yikes!

I've heard good stuff about AKG's. These would probably do the job, but with this type of setup you have a big possibility of looking like a doofus.

Bass go for V-Modas, heaviest bass i've heard from any earphone, if plugins arent your thing then get a pair cans.

a little over a 100 but its THE best you can get for your budget for heavy bass oriented cans

In ears:
CX300
Atrio M5/M8
Super.fi 5 EB
V-Modas

most of these should be under 100 or a little bit over 100. just google for cheaper prices but make sure you dont get fakes.

ok so i bought a pair of 63.00 dollar JVC ha-s700 at circuit city. and after looking online theyre like 20 bucks overpriced. i bought them cause they look like bose around ears. so pretty much the quality is pretty shitty for the price, and theres not as much bass that i thought there would be. so i will be returning these tomorrow and ordering sennheiser hd202 and see how those will treat me

BOSE = Buy Other Sound Equipment

BOSE is overrated. Good equipment and all, but not worth the price. Like somone mentioned earlier, the Sennheiser cx300's are probably the best in-ear headphones you can get for under $100. They are my current earphones, but I plan on trying another pair as they just broke sad I didn't see anyone mention Ultimate Ears, but I've heard good things about their Super Fi line. I've only tried the Super Fi 3 studio, and they deliver amazing sound.

Try Technics or Sony DJing headphones. They're pretty good for how much they go for.
