Im gonna be buying my first 360 on black friday and i wanted to know what peripherals i should buy for it first to save it from the RROD? Dont get started about telling me to buy a ps3 because i already have one.

And which game should i buy first? GTA4 or Halo3?

get gta4 man, for a first game there is so much to do and ign gave it a ten out of ten review which never ever happens..you could prolly get it cheaper too

Cool, i think i will be getting Halo3 since i can get GTA4 for my PS3. Call of Duty world at war looked pretty good too.

Haha, just 3, i went to best buy, brands mart, and walmart and they had tons, im gonna go get mine from brands mart and hopefully sign up for one of those little membership things so i can get 20% off.

try to get the halo trilogy, the story alone can occupy you for a great deal for a while especially with halo3: recon coming out soon.if it werent for the damn little kids on Xbox live id still be playing it.

and later gta4 but it gets boring fast after the story but theres an exclusive addon for it coming later this year.

better yet, try to find package deals, the bestbuy/futureshops by my place are selling all 3 types of 360 with 3 extra games(depends on store) and since the new bundles come with 2 games you should be plenty occupied.

halo 3 and gears 2 is a must have imo if you own a 360

true. i bet its gunna be released around the same time the other halo games were dropped.

Prince of Persia is lookin good. might wanna try that one out.

i have CODWaW and its pretty good
after you beat story mode there is a "Nazi Zombie" mode you can play co op and its so much fun if you play with someone.

I heard Left 4 Dead was really good too and I wanna try it.

I had Halo 3 and it got boring after a while, I'm more into realistic shooters like COD4 or COD5.

Make sure you buy Xbox Live also.

DONT get the intercooler.
I bought one for mine a long time ago and had it on for a week or so until I found out the bad things it does. Never put it back on ever since.
