Yo, I just cawped a premade Dell computer, lol (Dimension 8300). It's almost 6 years old, but it's running.

The HDD is weak, though. Only 110GB and 512MB RAM. I use an external for everything, and I'm thinking of getting a 1TB external.

i play alot of games on mine. cuz LINUX does alot of background processes which makes your game play alot better and faster. my games used to freeze when i played them on XP

My friend and I built my computer from parts from Newegg.

Intel Core2 Quad Processing (Yes, quad processing, not dual) >sad
2 sticks of 2 GB RAM = 4 GB of RAM in total
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX
Three internal harddrives (500 GB, 500GB, and 125GB) that add up to approximately a terrabyte of storage
Two CD drives
Logitech G15 gaming keyboard
Logitech G7 mouse

but the worse part of it all is: Windows Vista Ultimate. Vista kind of sucks due to its lack of compatibility.

i just thrashed my old system which i built 4 years ago. i used to be heavy into case modding, had windows, lights, painted and shit.
well my pops got me a new work comp from his company for 60flat.

pentium4 3.2 ghz
500gb hd
extra 500 External for media files (PrOnz!!)
4 gigs of ram
GT8500 slim version because its the only thing that would fit in these damn slim cases. plus it was only 50 bucks

and my dad bought anotherone for 60 and its a servercomputer

xenon 3.2ghz or something like that
4GB RAM
250 GB HD
best part is it came with this

but you can't game with it and my pops doesnt have a dvi monitor so he swapped it out for my old radeon xt2600 and the quadro is boxed in antistatic, waiting to be used later or maybe sold. its the agpx8 version we have by the way, i couldnt find its pic.

dope shit. even though i know water cooling is safe, im still sketchy on that shit. i suggest if you're using a cold cathode, use an LED strip version instead, cathodes powersupplys have a tendancy to go BOOM. and the cathodes themselves sometimes melt the plastic its in.
