i wanna upgrade my computer within a $200 dollar price range but don't know much about computers really.

I have a:
[LIST]

[*]AMD Athlon 64 3000+
[*]Radeon 9250
[*]1.75GB Ram
[/LIST]

i know my systems really outdated so i might be willing to go above the $200 dollar price mark but not to much more than that. i really wanna use it for gaming and stuff because my computer cant even handle league of legends ffs! please help

Do you mean just upgrading the memory/video card? You must have to check the power supply :x

I suggest that you just save $350 and you can get a cheap desktop (home/browsing) that can handle the low requirement games such as league of legends.

For $600 you can get a decent gaming computer that handles most of the new games on med settings with frame rates around 40.

You're better of starting off fresh with a new build TBH. Only thing you can really do with what you've got is add a video card. Although with those specs, it might still be AGP.

Im not sure if it goes here, but its a computer problem i guess. Is there a program to get more internet connection thru wifi than someone whos connected to the modem? Cause I think my brother has that. Im not being paranoid but whenever my brother plays League of Legends he complains for a while about lagging while were just doing regular stuff, but after a while, the computer connected to the wifi thru ethernet cable, (yes my computers old) looses any kind of connection, but he gets to play regularly. so is there something like that cause i wanna get that. if it helps our service is verizon with an actiontec modem

AVG has kind of fallen off as an anti-virus. Avira and Microsoft Security Essentials are considered to be the best free anti-virus programs right now; MSE actually has really good reviews. I currently use Avira, but will probably switch to MSE at some point.


I would actually suggest the Comodo Internet Security Suite (which is now free) or Avast (also now free, however I don't like it too much) over MSE and Avira; you get more features out of them. I've been using Comodo for about a year and am highly pleased with their anti-virus component in addition to their already existing (and award-winning) firewall component. Avast was good when it first became free, but now I feel its become too "commercialized". AVG is just a joke now.

Change the password =] problem solved.

(Admin account, not the wifi p/w)

You don't have to stay off porn, you just have to know where to get your porn, i.e. knowing where to go and what to click/download(also what not to click/download) and having proper security software

aye idk if its the right place for dis but i need help.

Whenever I open my Laptop back up and log-in, it always freezes up and I gotta restart it to get it working. It happens almost everytime I try to log-in, this ever happen to anyone?
