hey guys i was looking for a new mp3 player, was thinking about getting a cowon d2 (reviews.cnet.com/mp3-players/cowon-d2-4gb-black/4505-6490_7-32309446.html?tag=lst) but not sure if its worth it, guys have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

my zune finally crapped out on me and i was trying to upgrade to a 2nd gen zune (always get that protection plan kids)... but best buy didn't have the 80gb ones in stock... got the ipod touch and have been happy ever since

Cowon's are real nice. The sound quality is much better than that of the iPod and its compatible with most music formats. Plus it gets like 8 hours of battery playing video. Heck the Archos has better audio than the iPod. But, Archos mp3 players are pretty ugly and bulky.

For an mp3 player I'd get either a Cowon or a iPod touch. Just because the touch is pretty sleek/iTunes is pretty solid.
