Whoever said he is lying is ignorant. Maybe he is maybe he's not. I know people who collect phones (landlne and cell) like people collect sneakers, stamps or soda caps. People collect everything. If you said you bought at least 5 pairs of sneakers a month, who am I to say you're lying? My ex bf collected Mac computers.

i love it. the only thing i hate about it is the slow internet loading.

Jul 09, 2007 @ 17:10

Jul 10, 2007 @ 22:54

??????? You are an ignorant as fuck

"30 cellphones??? break that down....12 months in a year...which means you went through 2-3 cellphones a month....sorry if i call you a liar my friend..but indeed it is what you are... "

angry rant
So I've had the iphone for over a month now and it is ass compared to my old Blackberry 8700 in business functionality. The iphone is definately neat, cool, and hip but its a piece of shit that I regret buying. If I could go back, I would get a Blackberry Curve instead of getting my emails at least 15 minutes late.

The ipod function is cool, the youtube function is cool if youre waiting in a doctors lobby and the complete internet is awesome but all these things are all luxury-ish features that don't relate to raw communication (voice, email, text-messaging). It doesn't even have any any instant messaging program as the corporate plot to take SMS money.

I suppose I should've thought twice before I thought this thing could actually replace a real smartphone but whatever. Great consumer phone but this "smartphone" is really a dumb-ass-phone.

-hustled consumer

were you really hustled or did you just not do all your homework?

were you really hustled or did you just not do all your homework?

i did my homework. i just didnt realize how annoying not having the push email system is. i thought i could live without it until they develop something.

**update, i got a blackberry curve (8300) on my lunch right before my 30 days into the at&t plan ends today. emails are awesome... smokeyface

I dunno bout all bout all these nitpickers, but I'm lovin' mine.
Aug 08, 2007 @ 11:14
your SK3 > iPhone in terms of email/instant messaging
-iPhone doesn't have AIm/MSN/YIN
-iPhone doesn't have push emails so you only receive emails when your iPhone chooses to receive them

iPhone does have aim. Http://iphone.mundu.com

A lot of these complaints are easily remedied by a software update, being a piece of shit hardware to begin with.. not much you can do with it.

The phones at the moment that do support 3g are so crappy to begin with, it takes ages for them to render the page to a functional level. Normal GSM on my iPhone renders webpages faster than any 3g phone I've ever had.

Aim/Msn/Yahoo/Icq? No problem, http://iphone.beejive.com one of the best apps I've ever used on a phone, it trips my sk3 in functionality and usability

I've had mine for a month now, and its fucking awesome. I have very few complaints with it......but they do need to release the update that lets you put music as a ringtone.

Sep 11, 2007 @ 16:23
Custom ringtones are finally available on itunes. you have to look for songs that are cleared for use as a ringtone though. Hopefully they'll be clearing thousands more titles everyday.
Sep 11, 2007 @ 17:01
Couple questions...

As far as third party apps go, whats the best one out there to set a custom ringtone/mp3 ringtone?

Also, with the third party AIM applications, what are people's experiences with these programs? Do you stay signed on to AIM and recieve messages like the Sidekick3 or is it some bullshit app where you can't go idle or listen to music and recieve messages..

Anyone reccomend an AIM app. that they have had success with?

Thanks in advance..
