Wants to buy next-gen system, yet doesn't have something that most homes have had for half-a-decade. Even still, I'm sure it will have an ethernet port, so unless you're posting from 1998, your internet connection should work fine.
it's easy for a city kid to think that where they grew up is a microcosm for the whole country (or world). i do that too. but there are still large pockets of the country that aren't quite as "evolved".

I'm only buying the PS4 if that new metal gear solid Ground Zero is gonna come with it like the old PS3's when MGS4 was out... also it should be able to play ps3 games and wifi battery charge the controllers, I mean they do say that this will be the last gen of gaming consoles... im also thinkin Sony is going to charge for online gameplay... microsoft makes bank charging little kids 60 a year to play call of duty and halo online... plus the online experience isnt up to par with xbox live if you wanna admit... i can get in any match on the 360 online but for some reason on the PSN i'm sittin there lookin at the fuckin screen for a few minutes... good internet connection =/= connecting to online matches

I don't know why wireless charging is a big deal with things, you still have to place the controller on something for it to charge

Wireless charging is easier, it's simple. With USB, your controllers don't charge when the system is off. With NFC charging, it should charge your controllers, phone and tablet all on the PS4.

Is it a big deal? No, not really. Should it be there? Yeah, wireless power is the future.

Hate to break it to you, but you don't have 'good internet' if it takes you a day. Even the 25GB games take 8-12hrs, while torrenting and streaming over my network, much faster if you d/l while sleeping.

I dont mean a full 24hrs .. 8/12 hrs is all day to me and im sure next gen games will be even bigger than current games.Either way I aint got time for dat.Took me 2 hrs download san andreas the other day

a lot of these games will be out on ps3 as well. diablo, ground zeroes, watch dogs, all look like they'll be cross-gen. that plus no backwards compatibility and stuff like gta still coming and me being broke means i'm prolly gonna wait like a year on ps4.

I've owned every Play Station console apart from the vita, so I'm pretty sure I'll purchase a PS4 when it's released. I was a little dissapointed that more details weren't released but I'm looking forward to E3!

On a serious note, in terms of raw graphical performance they said it was a "supercharged PC GPU" that could crank out 1.84 TFLOPS. A Radeon HD 7850 can crank out 1.79 TFLOPS and is about $180, to $160. I'm a bit concerned because this might raise the cost to $500, but if they are able to pull it off and sell the PS4 for at least $400 or a bit more, I'm definitely buying it. IMHO the bulk of the PS4's cost is going to be in the GPU, and the CPU they were talking about is an AMD Jaguar low power CPU. It's not released yet but it comes in a dual-core and quad-core flavor, but the PS4's variant of it they said will be an eight-core CPU which should hopefully should ease any bottlenecks with the GPU (if there are to be any). I'm in dire need of upgrading my aging gaming PC but if the PS4 turns out to be successful at a decent price, I will definitely go for it. I feel Sony definitely knows what they are doing this time, and with the x86 architecture they are going to use, it will make game making a whole lot easier compared to the PS3's ARM architecture.
