In what way were Syphon Filter, Dino Crisis and Turok underrated?

SF spawned a number of sequels, albeit only SF2 was any good. (IGN ranked the game #19 on their list of the "Top 25 Games of All Time" for the first PlayStation console)

Dino Crisis was awesome, again, spawned a trilogy. (Dino Crisis was a commercial success. The PlayStation version of game has sold 2.4 million copies worldwide, being listed as the 13th-best-selling Capcom game.[9])

Tomba was dope. I remember buying a used PSP way back when in order to emulate it, unfortunately MGSPO updated my firmware and borked that ability. Sold the PSP soon after.

Forgot about Silver. Probably my favourite ARPG ever.



D2 was awesome. The battles were rather sheisty, but hunting, exploring, atmosphere and story made up for that.

I loved the DC.

You say that, and then post a critically acclaimed fighting game. That shit was huge when I was in grade 5, and still gets hype on 'Best of" lists. It also spawned a sequel that was no slouch either.

Unfortunately it isn't sold anywhere outside of Japan sad , and it isn't translated in any other languages. I downloaded mine with an R4.

Used to play this shit with the neighbor kids. Copped that japanese import so we had to do some kind of trick with the action replay to make it work.
