I feel like you have to allow yourself to be scared for it to be scary. If you just sit there and be like this shit probably ain't even scary, then it's not gonna be scary. Let yourself get into the story. Marble Hornets made every night fucking horrible for me. I felt every time I opened a door or turned a corner someone would just be standing there or something. hahah.
